Some of you may remember Lisa and Phil from their wedding back in the summer of 2010. They were a terrific couple and I loved spending their wedding day with them. When they contacted me about doing a family session with them I was so excited! They wanted it to be exactly on Ayla’s six month birthday. Fortunately the weather was warm but it was a little too early in the season for green grass, flowers, and leaves on trees. They chose to have it in Brooklyn and I jumped at the chance. I am always looking to expand the locations I shoot in and the diversity of my portfolio. It was great meeting little Ayla and it warmed my heart to see how happy she made both Lisa and Phil. I think you can tell from the photographs that she is the light of their lives. I may need to do another shoot with them when it’s further along in the season!
