Here is another shoot I did for the new edition of Clotheshorse Magazine. I love how this shoot turned out. Shooting on a neutral backdrop can sometimes bring more attention to products and this knitwear deserve it! The shoot is styled to resemble the look of an affluent woman of the English countryside. I’ve been watching a lot of Mad Men recently (who hasn’t?!) and I love how the clothes and styling in this collection also look like attire from that era. Everything about how this shoot turns out just transports me to another time and place.
This is how the fine folks at Clotheshorse describe this collection:
“Don your finest pearls whilst on a virtual journey to the English countryside. Mingle with the upper classes through manicured lawns and grand halls. Here is a story inspired by the “Huntin’, shootin’, fishin'” set but full of modern attitude. The tweeds, herringbones, twinsets and pearls get a make-over whilst maintaining a contemporary edge.”
Remember, if you see something you love you can always purchase the patterns on their website!
