Photo booths at weddings are one of my personal favorite things! I think they provide an avenue for really amazing pictures that you normally would not capture at weddings of your favorite people being silly. The photo booth I offer is essentially a mini photo studio that provides a large enough space to fit a bunch of people, professional lighting equipment, and an assistant that runs it all. If you’re getting married you should probably consider one!
This particular photo booth was at Rebecca and Russ’ wedding. It was held at The Green Building in Brooklyn, NY. The venue is amazing! It was an old bronze foundry that was converted to a beautiful and versatile event space in 2008. Once I saw the exposed brick inside the building I knew that we should incorporate it into the theme of the booth. I think it would have been a shame to hide it with a standard backdrop. Luckily, Rebecca and Russ agreed! I always provide an array of fun props to help the wedding guests get creative and silly in their photos. The couple for this wedding added a few of their own personalized items to the prop table and the results (as you can see) are hilarious! I have had the pleasure of seeing all types of wedding guests (young, old, wild and shy) take the opportunity to step in front of the camera and have fun with one another. It’s a real hoot!
